Inside Our Sukabumi Natural Stone Factory
From the quarry face to the container door, every stage of production happens under one integrated operation in West Java, Indonesia.
One factory, complete control
The quality of a natural stone shipment is decided long before it reaches your port — it is decided at the quarry face, at the saw, and on the inspection floor. That is why CV Alam Berkah Indonesia operates as a single integrated manufacturer rather than outsourcing stages to third parties. When you buy from our Sukabumi factory, the same team that selects the raw blocks also calibrates the tiles, profiles the coping, runs the quality checks and packs the crates. Nothing changes hands, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Our production stages
1. Quarry selection
Sukabumi green stone, andesite and lava are extracted from established West Java quarries. Our quarry team hand-selects blocks for colour uniformity and structural soundness, rejecting material with hairline fractures or colour banding before it consumes any sawing time. This upstream discipline is why our finished stone shows such consistent colour across large facades and pool surfaces.
2. Primary sawing
Selected blocks are cut into slabs on multi-blade gang saws and bridge saws. Blade selection and feed rates are tuned to each stone's hardness to minimise chipping and maximise yield.
3. Calibration & finishing
Slabs are calibrated to precise thicknesses, then finished — honed, sandblasted, flamed, bush-hammered or left natural split — on dedicated lines. Finishing is where a stone gains its slip rating and character, so each line is calibrated and sampled continuously.
4. CNC & cut-to-size
Our CNC bridge saws and profiling machines produce bullnose and drop-face pool coping, mitred corners, mesh-mounted mosaics and bespoke cut-to-size pieces to architectural drawings, holding tolerances that make on-site installation fast and clean.
5. Quality control
Under our ISO 9001:2015 system, every batch is dimensionally checked, dry-laid to verify colour blend, and photographed for your remote approval before it is packed. Test data for water absorption and strength is recorded per batch.
6. Crating & export
Finished stone is packed into seaworthy wooden crates with edge protection, fumigated where required, and loaded with full export documentation for FOB or CIF shipping.
